About Us
Beautiful Blouses, Tops & Knitwear…Vortex Designs have been designing & producing ladies fabrics, knitwear & blouses for work for over 20 years. Innovative, stylish and affordable, our ranges include striped, plain & patterned blouses, as well as knitted cardigans & tank tops.
Styles are grouped together in 3 ranges according to their characteristics and features- the ranges are Signature, Classic & Essentials.
Signature is all about bold colours & designs, with contemporary details & stylish touches.
Classic features smart, neat styles & elegant, professional colours. (This section was previously known as The Comfort Collection.)
And Essentials is the starting point for performance-led fabrics & clean simple styling.
The fabrics selected are modern & elegant and the styles are contemporary & sophisticated. New generation yarns & weaving technologies give the feel & appearance of natural fibres, whilst maintaining the performance of man made ones. Elastane stretch has been introduced to add comfort & allow for more fitted styling and there is a wide selection of plain colours as well as stripes & prints to choose from. The results are eminently stylish, practical and professional.
The ranges are designed to be as flexible as possible. Colours have been co-ordinated across the styles, so that a number of different styles can be combined to suit different tastes, shapes & age groups giving staff that important element of choice, whilst still retaining a corporate, unified image.
We recognise that women want to wear clothes to work that are as comfortable & stylish as they would choose for their own wardrobe, yet they also need their work blouse, shirt, top or cardigan to be hard wearing, practical & easy to care for. In pooling all of our fabric knowledge and design expertise, we hope to have created collections that combine the desire for style, with these practical requirements.
Service is also key and we try to keep this as welcoming & efficient as possible- there’s no minimum order quantity and we aim to despatch all orders same day for next working day delivery.
